We set sail on the Golden Princess this past September, leaving from Seattle, Washington. We had been anticipating this cruise for months, checking the average weather for that time of year months in advance. Unfortunately, for the time of year we were going, we were fearful that we would be met with a lot of rain during our time on the cruise ship, but we were thankfully wrong!
We had tremen....

We are not rookies to cruises by any means, as we have traveled with Carnival in the past. This time though, we decided to try something different due to a recommendation from our travel agent, and took on an Alaska cruise on the Princess Sapphire. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in what we got for our money.
The ship itself was very well-kept, as it had a nice classy feel to it, especial....

This trip was different to me as I traveled with mother-in-law. I like the sail planning of Princess that it divided the entire journey from Rome to Venice in two segments of six days. It liked the 2 sea-days where I had a chance to experience the ship facilities and the charming weather.
We book a minivan from the hotel, sharing the cost with another couple to reach the pier taking the driver....

The overall appearance of the cruise is appealing no doubt but someone who likes water adventure will initially opt for it to see its port, which alone augments the beauty of the entire cruse construction. The sea was rough for almost all time and bad wind spoiled the visit to Dublin, yet over all it was entertaining. Being a regular reader of transatlantic it was known to us that we are supposed ....

EMBARKATION
The cruise left from Vancouver which is a beautiful city with an equally beautiful port. There were three cruise ships in port on the day we set sail and embarkation was disorganised. Princess arranged transfers from the airport but the terminal was so overcrowded the buses could not get near. Passengers were over-warm and complaining to each other. We decided to walk 1/2 mile to ge....

The Princess was a great choice for us. The ship was well laid out, and we had a balcony cabin which was great to relax on. The cabin was a bit smaller than expected but the wardrobe was a great size so no real complaint. The staff were the most efficient we have met and were very friendly too. The dining experience was great with food to suit everyone. The entertainment was varied but we tended t....

Having been on the Princess once before we knew what to expect, it is a delightful ship with everything we expect from a cruise. The only downside was the cruise was too short, wish we took a longer one now, definitely will the next one. The food and service was excellent in all areas, but the restaurant was sometimes a bit noisy. We took in the movies under the stars when we could make them on ti....

Overall a very enjoyable cruise with fantastic scenery. A superb ship with great staff. Nothing was too much trouble and service in dining areas excellent. We found alcohol very expensive compared to other cruises we have taken. A 15 percent gratuity on every drink purchased on top of very high prices was outrageous. Did not enjoy being constantly hassled by crew members to partake of expensive....

The childrens facilities on this ship are second to none. The main aim of going on this cruise was to get away from work and spend more time with the kids and this cruise is the way to do it. The amount of activities that parents and children can do is phenomenal!
The food and drink was excellent too. We treated ourselves quite a few times to the finest selections on the menu, but luckily th....

The Coral was my first cruise so far. I intend on going on more, it is just a matter of time and saving up. In our golden years it is important to save money and the Coral was the Ideal choice for that.
I wanted a holiday where I could relax, and the Coral has many comfy couches situated throughout where I could just admire the decor or read a book.
Not to say I was lazy the whole holiday ....
